GUIDED GROUP MUSHROOM HIKES

We offer several guided mushroom hikes (forays) around Missouri and the surrounding states each year. We walk a few miles and stop along the way as we discover mushrooms to learn about. We cover safety and identification tips, ways to prepare edibles, possible medicinal qualities, and discuss the ecological roles of fungi in the forest. The dates and locations are often decided and announced weeks or even months prior to the foray, so be sure and get on our contact list if you are interested in joining us.
