Midwest Foraging Convention

  • Old Wilderness Canyon Reeds Spring, MO (map)

This is a big one folks!

The Convention will be held in the Ozark Mountains at Old Wilderness Canyon, in Reeds Spring, Missouri.
Speakers and Demonstrators will be lined up each morning, then you'll be off for workshops and / or hikes. It wouldn't be a foraging convention if you were not under the trees and up close with each plant, mushroom, nut or fruit. You will have many opportunities to join in foraging hikes around the 57 acres, see live demonstrations, or sit under a shady tree listening to Authors, Foraging Educators, Chefs, Live Music and More.

Mike will be leading multiple mushroom hikes as well as doing a shiitake log demo each day. We can’t wait for this one! Lots of knowledgeable teachers and tons of unique learning opportunities all in one place!
